Backup Key Ring


Backs up your key ring (that means your own key and all received keys of others) to a location of your choice.


It is recommended to backup your key ring to an external data storage (e.g., a USB stick), so you still have a copy in case your hard disc breaks and all data become irrecoverable.


Steps:


Main Menu | Key Management | Backup Keyring


A Screen opens: Keyfile Backup

    1. Browse for the directory to save your backup (target directory) or leave the default
    2. Click OK to do the backup.
    3. Success message: Click OK.

Done.
